Prep and Plan

Before you start tackling the task at hand, keep in mind that the best way to approach any form of deep cleaning includes taking some time to prep and plan your clean. We promise having a plan makes the job look less intimidating.

Top To Bottom

Once you start cleaning, we advise you to start from top to bottom. Our cleaners work their way from the ceilings and tops of windows all the way down to the floors. This ensures that any cobwebs or dust don’t drop down on your sparkling clean floor. We train our cleaners to work systematically and recommend you do too.

Cabinets

If you don’t have Absolute Domestics as a regular cleaner, you might find that the tops of your cabinets might be dusty and greasy. We suggest giving this area a good wipe down with a microfibre cloth, while you’re up there check those corners for any pesky cobwebs. If you have any detailed work on your cabinets, make sure you’re getting into those little grooves to prevent any grease or oil build-up.

Sinks

When tackling the sink, we recommend rinsing it of any loose debris before sprinkling the area with a little baking soda and warm water. Add a drop of dish soap to a sponge and proceed to give your sink a scrub down. Remember, work your way from top to bottom!

Floors

The final step to your deep clean, the floors! To make sure you get that signature Absolute Domestics shining floor, you want to start off by removing any rugs. Shake them off, give them a good dusting and place them aside. Give the floor a thorough vacuum to get rid of any loose debris, once you’re satisfied, wash your floors with a cleaner that works for your floor.
